As inflation and the rising cost of living continue to impact all of us, many are feeling the pinch especially in their grocery budgets. Unfortunately, for some of our neighbors this has meant turning to Shepherds of Good Hope’s Community Soup Kitchen for help. In fact, we’ve seen a large increase in the number of individuals accessing our services daily. 

Did you know that just $5, will provide a hot, nutritious meal to someone in need. And if you give before October 11, 2024, your donation will be doubled, thanks to a generous match from our partner Keller Engineering. That means, your $5 gift will go twice as far, feeding not just one but two people who are experiencing food insecurity.

The hot meals at Shepherd’ Community Kitchen gave him a break from the overwhelming search for food and a safe space to feel supported. “It’s the first time in a long time I didn’t feel like a burden,” John says.
