Men’s Shelter
Our 102-bed Men’s Shelter program supports homeless men and gender-diverse adults, with the ultimate goal of helping them obtain permanent housing.
The Shelter Experience
The program focuses on renewing dignity and self-worth, and everyone in the shelter is provided with a bed, storage locker, meals and access to shower facilities.
In a supportive, non-judgmental environment, we offer an array of services tailored to help our clients address their physical and mental health, and addiction challenges. We also schedule a number of group activities and outings, creating a sense of community for all.
Our Team
The program is staffed 24/7 by a team composed of frontline staff, diversion workers, case managers and placement students.
Our skilled diversion workers are onsite to provide rapid intervention to help clients end their current episode of homelessness and connect with community supports to prevent a future return to our emergency shelter.
Case managers work with clients who need longer-term support to address the issues and/or barriers that led to their homelessness, with the end objective of securing a permanent, independent home.
