Give the gift of time and support Shepherds of Good Hope at the HOPE Volleyball Tournament!

Shepherds of Good Hope and the Shepherds of Good Hope Foundation are nothing without our volunteers. Day in and day out, our volunteers make our work possible.

This summer, Shepherds of Good Hope has been selected as one of four beneficiaries of Ottawa’s annual HOPE Volleyball Tournament, and we need your support!

The tournament is taking place on Saturday, July 11, at Mooney’s Bay Beach, at 2960 Riverside Dr.

We need your help! The following shifts/tasks will be available:

• Greeter
  • 10 shifts for 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM

• Bicycle Compound Monitors
  • 12 shifts
    • 4 for 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM
    • 4 for 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • 4 for 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM

• *Bar Services
  • 20 shifts
    • 10 for 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
    • 10 for 2:30 AM – 7:00 PM

*Smart Serve Ontario certification is required to work in a bar. HOPE will reimburse the cost of Smart Serve training for eligible volunteers.

• Tear Down and Clean Up
  • 8 shifts
    • 10 for 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

There will be a mandatory volunteer orientation at Mooney’s Bay on Wednesday, July 8, at 6:30 pm.
